Near enough to visit easily, from Weymouth to Lyme Regis, the World Heritage Jurassic West Dorset coast is accessible from Gray's Farmhouse.
Within half an hour's drive there is a choice of beaches at West Bay or Burton Bradstock, with the dramatic sweep of Chesil Beach further east, and the famous swannery at Abbotsbury.
To the west lies the magnificent roller-coaster cliff walk past the little coves of Eype and Seatown, up Golden Cap and on via Charmouth to Lyme Regis.

"Of all Britain's shorelines, few throw up so many surprises in so short a space….This is England's Jurassic Park, its crumbling strata stuffed with fossils… no wonder it has been proposed as a World Heritage Site*."
